Race Director: Gary Rob Maze

The Naturally Tough 5K/Cross Country event is back! On March 23th at 8:00 a.m., the 4th annual event takes place at Dunns Creek Blue Pond walk in site. This is an occasion everyone should consider, participate in and be proud of.

The name "Naturally Tough" is a description of the course and of all of us (whether we always remember or not). The course is beautiful, the weather usually is too and when it's not, that's ok, because the course still is. The ambition is to bring the community together to participate in a healthy activity and appreciate a small portion of a fantastic state park. There will food and drinks available, music (unless the generator won't start) and maybe a few booths. The sign up cost is intentionally low; $15 gets you a finishers medal (if you finish ) and a t shirt no matter what. There will be some top finisher prizes as well.

The recipient of funds raised has been different each year.  This year proceeds will go to The Migrant Education Center and Free Medical Mission, both are located in Crescent City. Even if you don't run or walk the course, please come out.    If you like what we are doing and want to support us please consider a donation. We have a Facebook Page and we're good about replying to messages and sharing information. If you could like and share us with others in your network that'd be appreciated also.

It's going to be a great Naturally Tough 5K!
